WHEN IS THE AUCTION AND FOR HOW LONG?
Bids4Bargains conducts auctions three times a year, usually around March, July and November on bids4bargains.com.
HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?
You can view on bids4bargains.com all items in our auction and add the items you wish to purchase to your shopping cart. Your cart reserves these items for your purchase for 24 hours. Unpurchased shopping carts are cleared after 24 hours so that other interested buyers can purchase all available items.
HOW DO I BID ON AN AUCTION ITEM?
During auction week, look for the list of available items here and on khmoradio.com. You will be offered two choices to receive your purchased vouchers: 1) pick-up at the Bids for Bargains office at 408 N. 24th St., Quincy, IL, and 2) certified mail for a $5.95 fee.
For pick-up orders, we will contact you when certificates are ready to be picked up. Bids for Bargains pick-up hours are M-F 9a-4p, excluding holidays.
For certified mail, your certificates will be delivered via USPS. A signature will be required upon delivery. Townsquare Media is not responsible for any certificates that are lost, stolen, or delayed.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ITEMS?
You can use Visa, MasterCard and Discover to pay online. If you are paying by check, please call ahead to confirm the purchase total.
CAN I RETURN MY PURCHASE FOR A REFUND?
We cannot refund your purchase. Please be sure to ask any questions you have on the item prior to bidding. All sales are final. No returns, refunds, or exchanges. Certificates have no cash value and cannot be used in trade.
WHAT IF THE BUSINESS I HAVE A VOUCHER FOR CLOSES?
At the time of each auction, we and the business operate in good-faith that the business has no plans to cease operation. If a business does unexpectedly shutdown, we cannot refund your purchase. We suggest that you use your certificates as soon as reasonable after your purchase.
IS MY PURCHASE TAXABLE? WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS WHERE I MAY BE CHARGED TAX?
In auctions prior to November 2024, there were a few situations where we collected tax at the time of purchase. These situations included when the voucher was for a specific item rather than a general dollar amount or for a gift card and in some cases with our automotive service deals. From the November 2024 auction forward, we will only be charging sales tax only for products that are picked up at our station (for example, the Refreshment Services drink cases that have been a part of many of our auctions.)
